If your phone system works but the person who set it up has disappeared, you are in a more common position than you might think. It was installed years ago, it has run quietly ever since, and now nobody answers when you ring them. Perhaps no one in the office knows the password. Perhaps the box in the cupboard is old enough that you have started to wonder what happens when it finally gives up.
We take systems like yours onto our own hosting and look after them, without starting again from scratch.

You keep your numbers
This is the first thing everyone asks, so here is the answer first. Your numbers come with you. Moving them between providers is a routine process and we handle the paperwork on your behalf. Nobody has to reprint stationery, update a website or tell customers to ring something different.
You keep the setup your staff know
We move what already exists rather than rebuilding it. Extensions, the way calls are routed, ring groups, voicemail boxes, greetings and out-of-hours settings all come across as they are. If your receptionist has a particular way of transferring calls, it still works the same way afterwards. The whole point is that the phones behave exactly as they did yesterday, just on equipment somebody is now responsible for.
Where we find something genuinely broken or badly set up, we will tell you and explain the options. We do not change things for the sake of it.
It starts with a review, not a commitment
Before anyone talks about moving anything, we carry out a fixed-price review of what you have. We look at the system as it stands, recover the passwords where they have been lost, write down how it is actually configured, and identify what you are currently at risk of. You get that back as a plain written report with a recommendation and a firm price.
If you read it and decide to stay exactly where you are, the report is still yours. Plenty of businesses have never had their phone system documented at all, and having it written down is worth something on its own.
Nobody knows the password
This is normal and it is usually recoverable. We deal with it regularly and in most cases we can get back in without interrupting your calls. It is rarely the obstacle people expect it to be.
How much disruption
Most moves happen outside working hours with only a few minutes where calls are affected, and we run the old and new systems alongside each other beforehand so the switch itself is undramatic. If your particular setup is likely to need longer, we will say so before we start rather than on the day.
What it costs afterwards
Fifteen pounds per user per month, including the hosting, the monitoring and backups behind it, and the support when you need it. The review that comes first is quoted separately and priced so that it is an easy decision rather than a leap of faith.
That includes systems we did not install. If you are running 3CX and the person who set it up has moved on, we can take it over, host it and support it — the same goes for FreePBX and the other platforms we work with.
Talk to us about your existing system
Tell us what you have and what is going wrong with it. We will tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping, and what we would change.
