Modern slavery, including forced labour, servitude and human trafficking, is a crime and a serious abuse of human rights. Simplify Networks Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships, and to making sure modern slavery has no place in our business or our supply chain.
Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires a statement from organisations above a set turnover threshold. We are below that threshold, but we publish this statement voluntarily because we believe it is the right thing to do.
Our business
Simplify Networks Ltd is a UK company that provides business phone systems, IT field engineering and managed IT services. We deliver on-site work in the UK and internationally through our own team and through independent contract engineers.
Our supply chain
Our main suppliers are independent field engineers and engineering companies, telecoms carriers and platform providers, software vendors, and suppliers of IT and telephony equipment. Because much of our on-site work is carried out by contractors in different countries, we pay particular attention to how those engineers are engaged and paid.
What we do
- We engage engineers directly or through their own companies, agree rates in writing before work starts, and pay for completed work.
- We do not charge engineers recruitment or placement fees, and we do not hold anyone’s identity documents.
- We expect suppliers and contractors to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent laws where they operate, and to apply the same standards to their own suppliers.
- We choose established suppliers for equipment and services and will review or end a relationship if we have concerns about how people are treated.
Reporting concerns
Anyone who works with us, or for one of our suppliers, can raise a concern about modern slavery or exploitation by emailing hello@simplifynetworks.co.uk. We will treat concerns seriously and confidentially. You can also contact the Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline on 08000 121 700.
Training and review
We make sure the people who choose and manage our suppliers understand the risks of modern slavery and know how to raise concerns. We review this statement at least once a year.
